(DBMSI) is to promote a diverse central business district that will serve the community's needs through community education and awareness, utilization of business resources, continuity of design, preservation of historic resources and the continued growth of "Old Town" Belton and the surrounding neighborhood.

Our License Bureau

The Belton License Bureau is one of the best kept secrets in Cass County. Short lines, friendly faces and Saturday hours are just a few reasons Belton drivers are happy to have this gem on Main Street.
But did you know DBMSI is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization contracted with the State of Missouri and Department of Revenue to operate the beloved License Fee Office in Belton? The fees collected help fund events and improvements on Main Street, including the annual tree lighting ceremony and Fall Fest.

Grant Opportunities

In early 2023, Downtown Belton Main Street, Inc. (DBMSI) launched the Main Street Facade Grant Program, a collection of funds set aside for the exterior beautification of Main Street buildings. Click on the link above for more information.
